Trenchless sewer line repair is a newer method of sewer line repair, though trained technicians have been applying trenchless repairs for around two decades. Most trenchless sewer line repairs can be concluded within a day. This is a huge time-saver when you consider that traditional sewer line repair requires several days of work, plus the time and cost to repair your landscaping afterward.

The pipe lining technique, known also as cured-in-place pipe, provides rehabilitation for existing pipes. It usually involves one access hole. The pipe lining technique is a pipe within a pipe; as a result, the diameter of the pipe becomes smaller. A liquid epoxy-resin solution tube is inserted inside the existing pipe and inflated over the damaged area. The new material coats the existing pipe and hardens. This technique cannot be applied if the existing pipe has collapsed.

You should find trained and experienced trenchless sewer repair technicians. Experienced technicians will identify utility crossings and water pipes before commencing work. Experienced technicians can also identify deflection issues that can create problems with inspection. Highly-trained technicians remove deflections in the old line to avoid complications with water pooling in low spots. This will depend on the type of soil in which your pipes are buried.

 Technicians will visit your house to do a noninvasive video inspection to identify the problem.
